ABOUT HECTARE 

헥타르(hectare)는 정제된 선율을 거부하고,

기계의 소음과 실험적인 사운드를 끌어들였던

80년대 얼터너티브 록 미학에서 출발합니다. 

앰프를 매개로 터져 나오는 디스토션과 차가운 노이즈의 파형. 

헥타르는 10,000㎡의 정형화된 그리드의 공간 속 강요된 규칙과

일정한 그림자를 벗어난 실루엣을 제안합니다.

- 흑과 백의 간결한 캔버스 위로 부딪치는 해체적 그래픽,

조각난 패턴과 비대칭적으로 충돌하는 패널, 격자로 정제된 그리드를 찢어낸

정격화된 화음에서 벗어난 날카로운 마찰이 만들어내는 날것의 소음.

이 불협화음을 통해 우리는 스스로를 가두던 껍질을 뜯어내고,

새로운 나로서의 탈피(Ecdysis)를 마주합니다.

hectare rejects refined melodies, originating from the

aesthetics of 80s alternative rock— an era that embraced industrial noise and experimental sound.

Distortion bursting through amplifiers,

and the freezing waveforms of noise.

hectare proposes silhouettes that

break free from the enforced rules and uniform shadows within the standardized 10,000 m² grid.

- Deconstructive graphics colliding over a minimal canvas of black and white, 

fragmented patterns and asymmetrically clashing panels, 

tearing apart the refined lattice grid, and the raw noise generated by sharp friction, 

breaking away from standardized harmonies.

Through this dissonance, we shed the shell that once confined us, confronting our own transformation: Ecdysis.
